However, OnSong 2020 is no longer available for download from the App Store to prevent confusion and prevent double purchases. If you had purchased OnSong from the App Store in the past as a paid download, you can continue to download and update the app through the App Store app by locating it in your Purchases list. Watch this quick video to see how to do this.
Our latest version of OnSong is our current flagship app with all-new features and improvements. OnSong is available as a free download and unlocked with an OnSong Essentials or OnSong Premium subscription. If you've purchased an OnSong Premium subscription to unlock premium features in OnSong 2020, you can use that same subscription to unlock all the features of the latest version OnSong and future versions of OnSong.
We've moved to a subscription model because our users desire continued development of new features and services to improve their organization and performances on stage. Having a subscription also has other advantages such as premium technical support. This model also allows us to have different pricing models for different regions, and make OnSong available as a group purchase for organizations. The free version can be used by many bands to share OnSong set lists and songs at no charge and to have some functionality, including a limited-time free trial for premium features.
