You can subscribe to OnSong through the App Store using your Apple ID payment, or through the OnSong website when subscribing as a group or through a solo plan. You can easily cancel your subscription by managing your subscription.
Within the OnSong App
If you are using the OnSong app, tap on the gear icon in the Menubar to open the Utilities Menu and then choose the Account option. Here you can view information about the authenticated account. If you are a member of multiple accounts, be sure to have the proper account selected in the account row. You can then tap on the Manage Your Subscription button. This will either open the App Store app where you can manage your subscriptions including OnSong, or it will open the billing portal through the OnSong website depending on how your subscription is being handled. If the latter, please read below to learn how to manage your account through the website.
On the OnSong Website
You can sign in to your account through the OnSong website. Once signed in, you can tap on the Billing link on the lower left side to view your subscription details in the billing portal. From there you can choose to change or cancel your plan. For instance, you may opt to downgrade your plan or change the billing interval instead of canceling your plan and losing access to your features.
If you don't have a billing link, be sure to click on the Switch Account link and choose the appropriate organization to manage billing. If you still do not have access to the Billing link, you may need to contact the administrator on the account to manage billing information.
Cancellation and Refunds
It is important to note that when you cancel your subscription, the App Store and/or OnSong continues your subscription through the end of the paid term and does not issue a refund. For instance, if you've paid for an annual subscription in June 2020 and cancel in September 2020, you'll continue to be able to access your features through June 2021. This applies to both App Store and OnSong solo or group subscriptions made through the website.
If you've subscribed to OnSong through the App Store, you'll need to request a refund directly from Apple. This is because all purchase transactions and provisioning are controlled by Apple and are not accessible to the developers of apps. Typically you would need to contact Apple within 90 days to request a refund. If you have trouble, you will need to contact Apple support because developers do not have the means to issue App Store refunds.
If you've subscribed through the OnSong website for either an OnSong solo or group subscription, you can obtain a prorated refund when you cancel your subscription and choose to terminate it immediately. If you need additional assistance, please contact OnSong billing support.
