OnSong is an iOS/iPadOS app and was designed to run on iPad and iPhone devices. However with the advent of Apple Silicon computers running Big Sur, it will be possible to run iOS/iPadOS apps natively on those computers. This means that if you purchase a new Apple laptop or desktop running Apple Silicon like the M1 processor, you should be able to download and run OnSong on those devices. OnSong will not natively run on previous Intel-powered Mac computers.
OnSong will be monitoring the roll out of iOS/iPadOS apps on Big Sur through the end of 2020 as they become available. We are also continuing to review supporting MacOS as a potential platform but do not have a timeframe for that development.
OnSong does not run on other platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Android, Linux or ChromeOS at this time. However our web-based Console does allow you to access, view and manage your OnSong library on any modern web browser.
OnSong Console for Mac was an app developed for macOS but has since been deprecated. If you have previously purchased OnSong Console for Mac, we would like to ensure that you can upgrade to the web-based OnSong Console. Please contact us for assistance.
