OnSong support a number of foot pedals including products by PageFlip including the PageFlip Cicada, PageFlip Butterfly, PageFlip Firefly, and PageFlip DragonFly. Follow the directions provided by the manufacturer to connect the PageFlip pedal to your iOS device in the Bluetooth settings screen. You will want the foot pedal to be in up/down or left/right arrow mode.
Once connected, tap on the Actions icon in the Menubar and select the Foot Pedal Tab Foot Pedal Setup screen. Next, swipe to the right until you locate the PageFlip Setup screen. Here you can set up the triggered actions for each pedal. To do this, tap on the pedal on the screen, or press the foot pedal on the PageFlip. This will open the Action Picker where you can choose the action you want to perform for each pedal. When finished, close the screen and enjoy using OnSong hands-free!
Since the PageFlip line of foot pedals operate like a computer keyboard, you may notice that the on-screen keyboard does not appear when editing text. This is because iOS prevents the on-screen keyboard from appearing when a computer keyboard is attached. To display the keyboard on the PageFlip without powering the device off or disconnecting from Bluetooth, press the current mode (CM) button next to the blinking light. After this step, you can use the foot pedal and the on-screen keyboard at the same time.
