While apps in iOS are designed to work without any user intervention, there are times that closing OnSong and starting it again may be necessary. For instance, switching external video modes may necessitate a restart. This process is different depending on the age of the device you are using.
Devices with Home Buttons
Press the home button to return to the home screen. Next, double-press the home button. This should display all opened apps in a grid or a stack. Swipe to locate the OnSong app screenshot and then swipe up to remove OnSong from the list and to close the app. Press the home button again to return to the home screen and then locate the OnSong icon to restart OnSong.
Devices without a Home Button
For newer iPads and iPhones without a home button, the process is a little different. Simply tap on the screen to wake the device and sign in. From the home screen, swipe up and continue swiping until the running apps form a grid or a stack. Swipe to locate the OnSong app screenshot and then swipe up to remove OnSong from the list and to close the app. When you are finished, tap in the area underneath the stack or grid of apps to return the home screen and then locate the OnSong icon to restart OnSong.
