The iRig Blueboard from IK Multimedia supports Bluetooth MIDI. If you have an older BlueBoard, you may need to update the firmware. With Bluetooth MIDI enabled, you won't need to run the BlueBoard app in the background to use the device. However, you do need to configure the device when powered up to use the proper mode you desire.
- To start the BlueBoard in legacy mode, Push the A button when powering up.
- To have the BlueBoard send Note Events, push the B button when powering up.
- To have the BlueBoard send Control Changes, push the C button when powering up.
- To have the BlueBoard send Program Changes, push the D button when powering up.
If you're using the BlueBoard as a Bluetooth MIDI device, you will need to pair it with OnSong for use. To do this, go into the Utilities Menu in OnSong by tapping on the gear icon in the Menubar and then choose Tools and Bluetooth MIDI. From this screen you can find the Bluetooth MIDI device and connect.
