Refunding an App Store Purchase
Just like manufacturers cannot issue refunds for products purchased in a store, developers cannot provide refunds. This is because purchases made on the App Store are made directly to Apple. OnSong and other app developers have no access to your Apple ID, purchase history, or billing information. Therefore, to acquire a refund, please follow Apple's refund directions.
Please keep in mind that receiving a refund from Apple for an app will prevent you from receiving updates and may cause disruptions to apps that they refunded. If you've received a refund for an add-on, you can continue to use the feature in OnSong on the device you purchased it on. However, suppose you install OnSong on another device. In that case, you will no longer have access to the add-on since you cannot restore refunded add-ons to the new device.
Refunding a Subscription
If you've subscribed to OnSong instead of purchasing OnSong, you'll have to start by canceling your subscription. This will ensure you are not charged again but will maintain your subscription through the paid term. There are ways to acquire a refund in some circumstances.
